Entry requirements

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science program, prospective students typically need to have a high school diploma or equivalent with a strong foundation in science and mathematics. Additionally, students may be expected to submit standardized test scores (e.g., SAT or ACT) and provide letters of recommendation that attest to their academic capabilities and interest in the forensic field.

English:

International applicants are generally required to demonstrate English proficiency through standardized testing such as the TOEFL or IELTS. A minimum score of 79 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS is usually considered acceptable. Alternative methods of proving English proficiency may also be available, such as completing an English language program or earning a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction.

International students:

International students must obtain an F-1 visa to study in the United States. To secure the F-1 visa, students will need to receive an I-20 form from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences after being accepted into the program. Additionally, students must comply with SEVIS regulations and maintain full-time student status while enrolled in the program.
