Social Change Concentration

The Social Change Concentration at Cottey College is designed to empower students to become agents of social change within their communities and beyond. This program offers a multidisciplinary approach, integrating theories and practices from various fields such as sociology, psychology, political science, and cultural studies. Students will engage with complex social issues such as inequality, injustice, and community empowerment, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms of social change.

The curriculum typically includes core coursework focused on social justice, community organizing, and advocacy strategies.
